2022 Finale

The final college day for 2022 marks a bittersweet ending where our beloved Principal Ken retired.

With a perfect IB score of 45+ years of dedication to his students’ education and Westbourne, the global Westbourne community came together to celebrate in his honour. Sydney DP1 students took upon themselves to dress up like Ken and followed with speeches after the farewell messages by Westbourne UK staff and alumni.

To round it off, the Sydney DP1 students raised over $650 in a morning tea fundraiser for Youth Off The Streets (an organisation suggested by Connor) and exchanged gifts through Secret Santa. The efforts of the Sydney DP1 cohort is truly representative of Ken’s dedication, where his belief is entirely about the students and what they can achieve with focus and the right support.
